Anthem Blue Cross (Anthem) offers Medicare Advantage Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) plans in California. Depending on where you live, you may be able to find an Anthem Medicare Advantage HMO plan in your area.

Anthem MediBlue HMO plans allow you to select a primary care doctor who coordinates your health care within the Anthem network of participating providers and specialists whenever you need specialized care.
A Medicare Advantage HMO plan generally does not offer any coverage for care obtained outside of the network unless for emergency medical care.
All Medicare Advantage plans are required by law to cover all of the same benefits found in Original Medicare (Medicare Part A and Part B).
Medicare Part A provides coverage for hospice care, some home health care and inpatient care at hospitals, skilled nursing facilities and other inpatient facilities. Medicare Part B covers most outpatient care at doctor’s offices, rehab centers and more. Part B also covers many preventive care services and durable medical equipment (DME).
